Shannon Gagnon

Registered Social Worker · Psychotherapist · Co-founder

Care that begins with curiosity, and room for your whole story.

A little more about Shannon

Shannon works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Her approach is grounded in understanding people within the relationships, experiences, and environments that have shaped them.

With a Master of Social Work focused on children and their families, Shannon has a particular interest in supporting young people, parents, and family systems. She brings creative and play-based approaches to her work with younger clients, making room for communication in ways that feel natural to them.

As a mother of three, she also brings a personal understanding of the complexity of family life. Her work makes space for the realities of parenting, relationships, and change, without expecting you to arrive with everything figured out.

Approach to care

Shannon’s work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and integrative. She incorporates EMDR and draws from CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Internal Family Systems-informed therapy. The approach is adapted to the person, with practical tools where helpful and space to understand what is happening beneath the surface.
